Finding a therapist that is the right fit is an incredibly important process and I hope the information provided throughout this site will help support you in deciding if these services will be a good fit what you are looking for.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Yoga Teacher, I combine clinical therapeutic methods with mindful embodiment techniques to create a space for deep emotional, physical and spiritual healing. I specialize in trauma, anxiety and stress management.
During sessions, I often interweave talk therapy and self-regulation practices (including yoga, mindfulness techniques, breathing practices, etc.) to support individuals in processing experiences and skill building.
In my practice, I follow the Stage Model of Trauma Recovery where we break down trauma recovery into 3 stages:
Stage 1: We focus on skill-building and self-regulation to find tools that work for you to regulate your nervous system and manage emotions more effectively in your daily life.
Stage 2: I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) and talk therapy to help individuals reprocess stressful or traumatic memories in an intentional and organized way.
Stage 3: We work to create new meanings based on the experiences you have had in your past and solidify new belief systems about yourself, your experiences and relationships with others.
Maintaining awareness of the MindBody connection is something I am passionate about bringing into my work both personally and professionally. My biggest intention in sessions is to help raise awareness about our experiences and then to provide effective tools to manage those experiences in a way that serves ourselves and our goals.

I am in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) insurance.
If you do not have BCBS, all sessions are to be paid out-of-pocket. This means you are responsible for the fee at the time of our appointment. Depending on your insurance plan, you may have "out-of-network" benefits and your insurance company could reimburse a certain percentage of my fee to you. I am happy to provide you with a receipt for services rendered.
Prior to our first appointment, I encourage you to call the number on the back of your insurance card to confirm that I am covered on your BCBS policy or to see what your "out-of-network" benefits are so there aren't any financial surprises.
Please note: In accordance with the No Surprises Act (passed in January of 2022), all clients are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) Impact Summary upon request and before first appointment.
